When figuring your total transportation charges, please keep the following regulations in mind:

• UPS parcel weight limit: 150 lb. The chart at left includes insurance on UPS parcels valued

under $100.00. Add $2.00 for each additional $100.00 value.

• Add $2.30 for insurance on parcels $50.00-$100.00 shipped by U.S. Mail; Add $3.50 for

parcels valued $100-$200.

• Add $0.50 handling on each parcel by U.S. Mail.

• If shipment requires more that one parcel, figure each individual parcel to your zone and add

the total charges.

• A physical address is required for all United Parcel Service shipments. UPS will not deliver

to a Post Office Box. Be specific — include house number, and street or road number. If no

physical address is provided, we will have no choice but to change the routing of your shipment

to US Mail.

• There is a $5.00 charge for any change of address. A zip code correction is also a $5.00

charge. These penalties must be passed on to the customer.

• Parcels weighing less than 30 lbs. but exceeding 84 inches total length and girth are considered

oversize (OS-l) and will be charged at the 30 lb. rate, regardless of actual weight.

• Parcels weighing less than 70 lbs. but exceeding 108 inches total length and girth are considered

oversize (OS-2) and will be charged at the 70 lb. rate, regardless of actual weight.

• C.O.D. Collection Fee is now $9.00 per $100.00 collected.

• Add $6.00 UPS Handling for each crated item or any item not fully encased in a cardboard

carton. Crates and bare items require special attention as they move through the UPS system.

A Delivery Area Surchage of 5.9%, over and above the regular UPS charge, will be applied to

all hundredweight residential shipments.

 

 

 

2008 ESTIMATED SHIPPING RATES

The chart below is only an estimate. Actual charges will be compiled by the UPS manifest system

when zip code and actual carton weight are keyed in. The rates printed below DO NOT INCLUDE

THE $2.25 PER PARCEL Delivery Area Surcharge required on parcels to certain rural area zip

codes. If this surcharge applies to your area, we will have no choice but to include this fee in the

shipping total on your invoice. Call UPS at 1-800-PICKUPS to see if this applies to your zip code.
