§      We will be shipping only No. 3 Swarms which contain approximately 3 lbs. of bees.

§      Shipment begins March 29, 2008 and runs through early May. 

§      Place orders in January and February to assure desired shipping dates.

§      Package bee and queen shipments move only by the U. S. Postal Service—Insured. 

§      If your  shipment arrives dead or in damaged condition, your postmaster will assist

               you in filing a claim for the loss or damage.

v      If your Queen arrives dead, please contact us immediately. It will be replaced at no charge.

                         POSTAGE & HANDLING FOR PACKAGE BEES

The Postage Chart below includes Postage and Insurance to Zones 1-4. To figure your postage,

first determine your Postal Zone by locating the first three digits of your zip code on the Chart

on Page 63. If your zip code places you in Zone 5, contact us.  We are making special provisions

for Zone 5 customers and hope to be able to serve you.  Package Bees are shipped ONLY by the

U S Postal Department--  Priority Mail—Insured.  Loss or damage claims should be filed with

your postmaster immediately upon receipt of shipment.

PACKAGE BEE PICK UP

We have reserved each Saturday from March 29- May 3 (longer, if season allows), for package

bee pick up at your Clarkson, Kentucky plant.  If you would like to avoid the risks involved when

bees are shipped through the Postal Service, call us.   Please place your order early for a Saturday booking. 

Keep in mind, however, we must charge 6% Kentucky Sales Tax on all goods, including bees, picked up at our plant.

           Note:  All package bee pick-up orders must be paid for in full at the time the order is placed. 

                      Credit Card orders will be charged the day order is placed.

Note:  Add $2.00 Insurance/Handling to all Queen  Bee shipments, regardless of quantity. 

Should your queens arrive dead, you, the customer and your postmaster will be responsible

for filing Postal Form PS 1000 to receive reimbursement for your loss.

               Marked Queen, add $2.00 ea.;  Clipped Queen,  add $2.00 ea. to the above pricing.
